Due to the overwhelming amount of Wiki-Licious donut orders, pick up days are now TUESDAY - FRIDAY. 8th graders should be reaching out to you this evening for your assigned pick up day. If you are unable to come on your assigned day, come on any day AFTER your assigned day as long as it is before Friday at 6:00. Online order pick up days will not change. On Friday, 7th graders Thomas Fink, Corbin Bryson, and Ziva Richeson represented Calhoun at the 4-H Skillathon Competition. We are so proud of the work these 3 students put in to preparing!
To-Do List Before Fall Break
Calhoun 5th grade enjoyed a day of interactive learning at Creative Discovery Museum Thursday! We love giving our students these opportunities outside our classrooms. Seeing these smiling faces makes all the planning worthwhile!

After lots of radar study and phone calls begging for earlier departure times, the clouds parted for a beautiful Chattanooga Ducks tour for Calhoun's 6th Grade! We love this educational opportunity full of history for our students! Chatt Ducks captains are the BEST! They don't know it, but they are adopted Calhoun teachers for the day and become #ALLINforMcMinnCountySchools

This morning students in grades 3-8 had the opportunity to participate in the global event "See You at the Pole." Thank you to Calhoun First Baptist Pastor Nathan Melton along with many Calhoun Faculty and Staff members for being present this morning for our students' event. You know it's a good start to the day when you have to back up for a wider picture to capture all the students involved!

Calhoun's MPP held its first family event this afternoon. A Camp Out with MPP featuring reading stations, free books from MCEF's Little Library, math fishing game, rooftop tent reading, outdoor games, crafts, s'mores, and more! A great time was had by all. Thank you to McMinn County School Board Member Dustin Prichard, McMinn County Education Foundation, Calhoun Public Library, Calhoun Junior Beta Club, and Calhoun Faculty and Staff. This is the last week for the 8th grade donut fundraiser. Want to order but don't know an 8th grader? We have you covered! Order forms were sent home yesterday. We have now been upgraded to TWO pick up days, and all orders from this point forward will need to be picked up on FRIDAY, October 3 between 10-6. Thank you for your continued support!
