Calhoun MPP students used multiple tools and strategies to discover different attributes and conduct experiments about and with pumpkins today. The rain may have moved their “patch” indoors, but it didn’t slow down any curiosity! Several parents joined for these experiments. We look forward to many more adventures this year!

Calhoun’s basketball season officially kicks off tomorrow with a noon game at Rogers Creek. Join us in wishing good luck to our athletes! Parent conferences will be held tomorrow afternoon. Please make sure you have made contact with your child’s teacher if you desire a time. MPP will NOT be held after school due to conferences.
Calhoun students attended Fire Safety Programming Friday. We appreciate our partnership with Calhoun Volunteer Fire Department and their dedication to not only our safety, but how they educate on many aspects for our community. It's more than just seeing the fire trucks. These are our people. This is important. #allinformcminncountyschools
Calhoun's 7th and 8th grades enjoyed a trip to Mayfield Farm Park today. We love that our own community has such wonderful tourism opportunities! Planning and travel are a breeze, and beautiful fall days make the perfect time to visit! Thank you, Mayfield Farm Park, for having us today!

Tomorrow is the deadline to register for pumpkin painting which takes place Tuesday 5-7 at the Pavilion. We encourage you to arrive before 6 to have best pumpkin color selection. This is open to the public! $12 per pumpkin. Relay for Life will also have a fundraising dinner going on. Plan to join them for supper!
